- It is up to you to find out when your character's species' mating season is! Staff will check the season and what season your character's species breeds in before giving out offspring stats to avoid mix-ups.
- Staff will find the length of gestation out when they give offspring stats and post the due date (as in the season) at the bottom of the stats.
- Your characters must have been roleplayed together at least once during their species' current breeding season in order to be able to breed. This thread does not have to be finished when you post the parents' stats.
- Not every breeding will result in a pregnancy! When you post your stats, the staff member that says they are doing your stats will go to this site and type in 'pregnant' and 'not pregnant.' If the picker selects pregnant, then congrats! If it selects not pregnant, fear not! Your characters can still breed this season. All you have to do is roleplay them together in another breeding thread.
- Forcebreeding, or rape, is allowed in all boards as long as you have the other roleplayer's permission. There will be one board where characters can be forcebred without permission of the other player. If you do not like that, simply do not post in that one board.
- Keep in mind that females can forcebreed males just as males can forcebreed females. Have fun with that.
- Mates will not be allowed in species where monogamy is the norm. Your character can have another character that they love more than the others, such as a herd stallion having a mare that is his favorite or a pride's lion having a favorite lioness, but not a mate.
- Mates will be allowed in species where monogamy is typical, such as, but not limited to, wolves, bald eagles, beavers, black vultures, and dikdiks. Keep in mind that only about 7% of animal species practice both sexual and social monogamy!
- When your character becomes sexually mature is up to you to find out. The age can vary from a few weeks, to a few months, a year or so, or several years!
We will eventually compile a database of ages and times for animals, but it is up to you to find it out for now. If you would like to help with the database, please message Koresh!
